I was talking about films to my mum the other day and we both couldn't
remember the name of one particular film. It was made in like 1980's
and it's got a young boy in it who leaves his family for 5 years with
some monster, they go away in a boat. When he comes back to his
family, there's a sense that he has achieved something great, he says
bye to the monster and returns to his family.
I can't remember the name of the film?
