Film Student Hoping to Move to CA?
student; hoping to make something of myself. I've wanted to move to
the west coast of the United States for as long as I can remember. My
father asked me tonight if I have a plan and to be honest, I don't. I
have a friend of a friend that currently lives in East L.A. that said
I could stay with him but keep in mind the move would take place 2
years from now, so who knows if he'll still be there or what the
situation will entail. Overall, I'm just wondering if there's anyone
here on Yahoo! Answers that has moved to California or anywhere
similar and had a plan. If so, could they please enlighten me so I
have a greater understanding of what to do? Thanks again.

Why isn't my delay pedal acting properly?
the store and it sounds great! But now I'm at home trying to figure
out why it isn't working properly. I'm playing out of a tube amp.
Egnater Renegade. I tried all plug-in examples. Even the effects loop,
which is what I want to use cause I use distortion overdrive from my
amp. And I plug it up correctly. But when I turn everything on,
there's a lot of feedback, just the ehhhhh noise ya know? And there's
no sound coming from my guitar, well there is, but I literally have to
turn my amp all the way up just to here a little sound, and even then
it's not loud AND my delay pedal is giving delay to the feedback and
not my guitar. idk whats wrong? I'm using instrument cables. I don't
have the short patch cables yet but I heard you can use regular patch
cables. Someone help please? Let me know if i must provide more info.

How would you classify my vocal range?
counting falsetto. Without falsetto, I break at a B below Tenor high
C. Would I just call myself any of the main male singing voices? Or
should I specifically promote myself as one?
BQ: Any tips on extending my falsetto above Soprano High C? I'm trying
to get a fifth octave and get to the F above High C. I'm 18 if that
helps.
BQ2: Should the Vocal Fry Register count? Because I can go a bit lower
if that's the case.

went with my cousin and met up with my boy friend and his friends at
some points but this year i want more people with me :) im the odd
ball in my group of friends :p i have dark hair they all have blonde i

How to improve as a vocalist?
be.. I wasn't entirely born with the ability to sing in a high range
and any given note at any given time but after watching The Voice, I
really want to try and be better. I'm inspired to. I sing everyday,
but I want to know if there are tips to become a better vocalist so I
can hit the notes Christina Aguilera and help my notes to come out
stronger, confidently, and with much more volume.
I don't want to hire a coach because money is tight but I would love
to hear the tips you guys have! Also, I'm a female.. my voice doesn't
go through any kind of changes so that isn't a valid excuse, correct?

How would you classify my vocal range?
counting falsetto. Without falsetto, I break at a B below Tenor high
C. Would I just call myself any of the main male singing voices? Or
should I specifically promote myself as one?
BQ: Any tips on extending my falsetto above Soprano High C? I'm trying
to get a fifth octave and get to the F above. I'm 18 if that helps.

Does anyone know what this old lifetime movie is called?
it must have been at least 7 or 8 years ago...
To the most part this is what I can remember...
It's about a girl who gets home from soccer practice late around 7ish,
she goes up to her bedroom and she has yellow soccer shoes or socks,
she starts to put her things away but she thinks her hears her mom
down stairs and she goes downstairs and i remember that she calls
"mom?" a few times... the next part of the movie is that she is
missing, the cops and everyone are looking for her, towards the
middle/end of the movie investigators are still looking for her and
the mother of the girl talks to a psychic to try to find out where she
is, they are sitting outside at a cafe place talking, they look in a
swamp/pond and they think they find her, but it turns out it is a dead
deer that was in the pond..
That was the last of it that i saw, and for years i have been thinking
about this movie every time i watch a lifetime movie...sorry, i don't
know any of the names of the characters...if you have any ideas of
movies you think this could be please let me know.

Talent show performance (not audition) help?
second year and i've already got through the auditions and a
rehearsal. I'm having second thoughts about the song I chose - Times
like these acoustic by the Foo fighters. I'm thinking it sounds a bit
boring. I put it on capo 4 because i'm a girl and i've got a pretty
high voice. I was thinking the best song to perform would be 'hey
soul sister' by train but there's already guy playing and singing that
on guitar (that's what i'm doing). It would look as if i was copying
him if i performed that.
I really need someones help, please. It's essential. I've only got 3
nights to make my mind up.
Please don't suggest I play hey soul sister because i ain't going to
play that for the reasons above. I was thinking about dreams catch me
by newton faulkner with a capo on to make the key higher.
What do you think? I need your answers so much. So thank ye all in
advance.
