Studiocanal on 'Double' duty

Eisenberg Wasikowska Studiocanal has acquired U.K. and Irish rights to Richard Ayoade's "The Double," which Protagonist Pictures is selling in Berlin.Deal was talked about by Studiocanal's Alison Meese and Berenice Fugard and Protagonist topper Ben Roberts."The Double" stars Jesse Eisenberg and Mia Wasikowska and is founded on Fyodor Dostoyevsky's book of the title.Studiocanal also distributed the helmer's debut, "Submarine," in Blighty a year ago. Ayoade and Avi Korine co-composed the story from the guy driven with a near breakdown by the feel of his doppelganger.Alcove Entertainment's Amina Dasmal and Robin Fox produce Andy Stebbing co-produces.
